At the end of September, Zoltán Márton, Project Coordinator, representing the Obuda University STEM Office – Hungary STEM Platform, attended the EU STEM Coalition project team meeting in the Netherlands.
Obuda University is the founder of the Hungary STEM Platform and a member of the EU STEM Coalition. Obuda University has long-term experience in organizing collaborations between education and industry, as well as various forms of scientific competitions and activities, making it well-suited to provide momentum for a national pilot program in Hungary.
“I have recently returned from Amsterdam, where I participated in the ‘Forum on Vocational Excellence‘ event. The plenary session was insightful, and the workshop discussing the Triple Helix model was truly impactful.
The primary purpose of my trip was a valuable meeting with the EU STEM Coalition project group, representing the Hungary STEM Platform.” – shared Zoltán Márton.
The Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Europe collaborate on addressing social challenges, skills development, and professional excellence.
The aim of the forum is for education and training providers, employers, and governments to cooperate in order to keep the workforce’s skills up to date. CoVE provides excellent examples of how this can be achieved.
