Children's Summer University

Our Children's University aims to present digitalisation in a practical, informative and playful way. Children can learn about the latest technological tools under the guidance of an experienced teacher. By the end of the camp, the children will be familiar with the modern information society and the digital world, and the information they acquire will also be useful during their career guidance.

Top researchers in the classroom

These programmes aim to showcase the latest technologies and solutions to the public. The aim of the programme is to provide a more comprehensive knowledge base for teachers in STEM fields by disseminating the latest research, new methods and teaching content. Expert teachers and researchers will give presentations on research developments and difficulties, and possible ethical implications in these areas.

Óbuda University is the founder of the Hungarian STEM platform and a member of the EU STEM Coalition. Óbuda University has a long experience of cooperation between education and industry and of organising various forms of scientific competitions and activities, and is therefore well placed to give impetus to a national pilot programme in Hungary.

Accredited University

Óbuda University is ranked the best Hungarian higher education institution in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking of young universities. According to the recently published data, our university is among the top 350 universities in the Central European region, alongside a Czech, Polish, Croatian and Serbian university - commented Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, who said that this new success also indicates that Óbuda University has become one of the most significant technical higher education institutions not only in Hungary, but also in the region, and that the change of model will provide it with further development opportunities.
