The costs of the training were financed by Obuda University from the European Union RRF-2.1.2-21-2022-00019 project titled “Practice-Oriented Education Development in the Spirit of Industry 4.0.”
We are delighted to announce that Obuda University’s first accredited STEM teacher training has concluded with exceptional success! The number of applicants exceeded all our expectations, as we launched with twice as many registrations as available spots. This clearly demonstrates that educators welcomed this practice-oriented, innovative training opportunity with great interest.
During the 30-hour, free-of-charge training, participants were introduced to numerous new pedagogical and methodological tools that they can immediately apply in their daily teaching practice. Across four modules, we explored exciting topics such as gamification, playful learning, out-of-school learning opportunities, and the use of Artificial Intelligence in STEM education.
Throughout the training, we placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that participants gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. To this end, we integrated numerous interactive tasks and exercises into the program.
Based on the feedback, participants were highly satisfied with the training. They highlighted that the program was inspiring and provided them with many new ideas to develop their teaching methods. Participants greatly appreciated the practice-oriented approach and the opportunity to continue exchanging experiences with fellow educators.
In light of the high level of interest and positive feedback from participants, we plan to continue the STEM teacher training program in 2025. We aim to bring this extremely useful and innovative training to even more educators.
We believe that STEM education plays a key role in training the professionals of the future, and we trust that by preparing educators for new challenges, we contribute to sparking students’ interest in science and technology.
We would like to thank all participants and our speakers who contributed to the success of the program. Special thanks go to our corporate supporting partner, ASURA Technologies Zrt.
